SCHOOL IS CLOSED

We will close annually for part of December and for part of January, for the festive holiday and in order for our staff to take their annual leave.

School Terms, Holidays & Public Holidays are published at the start of the year as well as termly in the children’s/learners daily diaries and on our D6 Communicator.

Communication to Parents

Whilst school is an important environment for children and their development, families play an equally critical role in the development of their children.

Parents and teachers shape the academic future of children by using diverse tools, values and educational philosophies. The shared vision of building a foundation for educational success motivates parents and teachers to forge a positive relationship with each other, and therefore turn that vision into a reality.

Good communication with a child’s teacher is a cornerstone for establishing an effective partnership, as we build connections between the child’s day at school and life at home.

Therefore, it is important for us to have communication between school and home and we have created various platforms for this to be achieved.

  • THE DAILY DIARY
  • OPEN DOOR POLICY TO SPEAK WITH TEACHER ON A DAILY BASIS
  • FOYER NOTICES / EASEL NOTICES
  • WEEKLY NEWSLETTER ON D6 COMMUNICATOR
  • D6 COMMUNICATOR FOR GENERAL INFORMATION
  • EMAILS
  • TELEPHONE

We look forward to and encourage daily verbal interaction with the class teacher.
